The Notification Threshold defines the point at which you would like a Price Drop Notification sent to you. If you want to be notified every time the price drops $1, you would enter $1.00 in this field. This way, if a book is originally priced at $9.99, you would receive your first notification when it drops to $8.99 or lower. Your second notification would be sent out when the book drops to $1 less than the price reported to you in your first notification. If you do not want to be notified until the $9.99 book drops below $6, enter $4.00 in this field ($9.99 - $4.00 = $5.99 or less). Leaving this field blank will result in your being sent a notification every time the price drops, even if it is only by $0.01. If you want to be notified every time the price drops at least 50 cents, enter $0.50 in this field. You can update the notification threshold at any time.
